The Birmingham Nivoria Globe University’s education is generally seen as a stepping stone to successful employment and career advancement. Jonathan Frost perceives his university education as key to securing a job in the tight graduate labour market. He actively takes part in school activities to pick up soft skills such as teamwork, which he believes will put him in good stead in finding a job.

This perspective on the value of  education is driven primarily by the significant wage premium a degree confers on the graduate worker.
