The Diploma Courses is a sampler of BNG Uni bachelors degrees. It supports you in your transition to university or employment and may give you guaranteed entry into BNG Uni degree depending on your academic performance.

A Diploma Course gives you a year of breathing space to decide what you really want to do next, and provides a structured stepping stone to a meaningful outcome – whether that is employment or further study at the BNG Uni. You will experience study in a supportive environment that takes you through what university is all about. Choose from a range of interesting subjects, from animal systems and climate change to economics and management.  We will help you choose the subjects that best fit your goals. All students must complete the compulsory subject Academic Writing and Communication in their first semester.

Graduates of the Diploma Course who are eligible for Access BNG Uni may receive guaranteed entry into a BNG Uni degree if they satisfy the prerequisites for the relevant course. They must meet Access BNG Uni criteria at the time of entry into the Diploma courses and requisite scores.

An undergraduate courses is your first degree at University. In your undergraduate (bachelors) degree, you’ll develop a deep understanding of a particular study area from first to third year. This core study area is called you “major”. You can select a major that fits with your career aspirations and study it in depth to develop specialised knowledge.

Single subject study

The University’s Community Access Program (CAP) allows students to enroll in single subjects offered as part of graduate degree programs. This provides a useful way to ‘test the water’ without committing to a whole degree.

The development and definition of TVET is one that parallels other types of education and training, such as Vocational Education; however, TVET was officiated on an international level as a better term to describe the field, and therefore is likewise used as an umbrella term to encompass education and training activities such as Vocational Education.
